Concord 2020
The mission of Concord 202 is to keep long range vision in the City of Concord's planning process. In 2005 Accompany Video produced a series of television programs as part of that mission. Two years later, 2020 was ready to have their story inspire other communities around the country. This video is a history of the visioning process and what the results have been. It is also part "How To" guide and will be sent to members of the United States Congress to be passes on to communities in their districts that could benefit from a similar process. (35 minutes/February, 2008)
GP2 Technologies, The EC-3 Autocase
What could be more exciting than the latest casemaking machine for GP2 Technologies? Much as we like producing documentaries and trailing Presidential Candidates, we also know how to make videos for industrial products when we need too. The idea is much the same as a good documentary, it is all about telling the story and making it come to life. GP2 has been using our production services since their business began in 1999. Today they have machines in over 20 countries around the world, and key to their marketing success is having the best sales video in the business. (Most recent project — EC-3, 5 minutes/January 2008)
Foreign Press Office, US State Department
Being a hired gun may not be the reputation you want, but it can be interesting and even a little bit fun. We do it often enough to stay fresh, providing the camera and crew for productions as varied as ABC's "Wife Swap" to feature length documentaries such as "For The Bible Tells Me So." In January, 2008, we provided a camera crew to foreign television outlets covering the New Hampshire Presidential Primary. Working for the Foreign Press Office of the United State State Department, we covered events and more with all the major candidates over the five days between the Iowa Caucuses and the New Hampshire Primary. (January, 2008)
Frederick Moyer
A concert pianist from Lee, New Hampshire, Frederick Moyer spends a good part of his life on the road, performing all over the world. He has also from time to time provided the music track for an Accompany video project. So when it came time to produce a video to promote his concert programs he turned to Accompany. Much of this video was pulled from concert recordings made by his friends over the last few years. In spite of their amateur quality, we were able to turn out a promotional video for Mr. Moyer that is nearly as virtuosic as his playing. (4 minutes/ December 2007)
Granite State Fair Tax
This video is part documentary, part advocacy. It details the history of the property tax in New Hampshire, examines its impact and fairness today, and how it is mired in a piece of political showmanship — a pledge by politicians to vote against any sales or income tax. The video is being used as part of a campaign to eliminate "the pledge" from the dialog of New Hampshire politics. (25 minutes/December, 2007)
NH Center for Non Profits
Often we don't recognize the many ways in which not for profit organizations touch our lives. To change that, the New Hampshire Center for Non Profits and the Washington, DC based Non Profit Congress undertook a campaign to talk with Presidential Candidates in the New Hampshire Primary about the role of non profits in our nation. This video, and a subsequent video in production, is used to encourage and inspire people working for non profits to take a bolder look at what they do and the important contributions they make. (6 minutes/May, 2007)
Red River Theater
Finally, a theater that shows more than the standard fair films has opened in Concord. But first they needed to raise cash, $1.9 Million worth. This Capital Campaign fund raising video was done to help in the effort. The theater takes its name from a John Wayne movie about accomplishing an impossible tasks, the video incorporates a couple clips fro the movie as well as interviews about what the theater would bring to Concord. (6 minutes/February, 2007 — Theater opened in October, 2007)
Parent Friend Program
The Parent Friend Program of the Concord (NH) Regional Visiting Nurse Association (CRVNA). It provides caring guidance to single mothers and families with children under the age of three to help build a stronger family and relieves some of the stress in raising small children. This six minute informational video will be used to help educate people about the program. (Completed January, 2007.)
Children’s Tumor Foundation
The Children’s Tumor Foundation, based in New York, is leading the fight against Neurofibromatosis (NF), a disease that develops painful tumors on nerve endings. For three years now Accompany produced video profiles of people active in the NF fight have been shown at gala events in Boston and New York. The profiles run between 4 and 6 minutes each. Three were produced in 2007. (October, 2007)
Breathe New Hampshire
This video celebrates the history of an organization dedicated to improving air quality and health in New Hampshire. From its origin 90 years ago to fight Tuberculosis, to their anti smoking campaigns of today, Breathe New Hampshire is in the forefront of the fight for clean air and healthier lungs. This video is used to educate and inform people about the organization and its activities. (6 minutes/2006, updated, October 2007.)
United Way of Merrimack County
Since 1999, Accompany has produced the annual United Way Campaign video for Merrimack County. They each in their own way are unique, but all have in common their success in helping the United Way make its funding goal each year. (Most recent completed July, 2007.)
Junior Science & Humanities Symposium
The Junior Science and Humanities Symposium is an annual event sponsored by the Academy of Applied Science in Concord. It brings together 250 high school students from around the country to present science projects and compete for scholarship awards in several categories. This video was recorded at the 2007 symposium in Huntsville, Alabama. It is now in use as an educational tool about the symposium to encourage and inspire future participants. (8 minutes/August, 2007)
Rock’n Race
