Head to Head

This video is about a school for under privileged children near the town of Belle Vue, Haiti. It is the inspiring story of Jean Lubin who lives in Connecticut but was born in Belle Vue. After returning from a trip to his birthplace in 1996, Jean came back to Connecticut with a dream--he wanted to help build a school in Belle Vue. Dollar by dollar, pencil by pencil, he saved money and materials and got friends to do the same. Brick by brick the school got built. Today the school has nearly 200 students. We are still waiting to hear how badly the school was damaged in the recent earthquake. But we are also confident that with Jean’s leadership, it will get through this disaster and keep true to its mission, teaching children in Belle Vue. We encourage anyone who wishes, to make a contribution to Head to Head.
