Lantos Foundation for Human Rights & Justice
The Lantos Foundation put us to work in 2011 with three distinctly different projects. First was a video to be shown at the opening of the Lantos Institute in Budapest, Hungary in June, 2011. Second was production of two videos for the 2011 Humanitarian Award. The winner was Paul Ruesabagina, the inspiration for the movie “Hotel Rwanda.” The award ceremony was in the auditorium at the US Capitol Visitors Center in Washington, DC. (Completed November, 2011)

Mikhail Khodorkovsky
Without question the most important video we have produced for the Lantos Foundation was about Russian dissident Mikhail Khodorkovsky, who has been in jail since 2003 for speaking out against Vladimir Putin and speaking up for freedom and democracy in Russia. It is hoped that this video will bring heightened awareness to Mr. Khodorkovsky’s imprisonment. Scheduled to be shown to members of Congress the end of February, it will be widely circulated. Though produced for the world stage, it has Concord roots, produced for a Concord based foundation by a Concord based production company, and using music performed by the Concord Chorale. (23 minutes, completed February, 2012

People First of New Hampshire
People with disabilities should not be put into an institution, they should be given the same freedom as anyone. That is the simple message of this video. Though New Hampshire has pretty much moved down the path to de-institutionalization, most other states haven’t. There are over 2,000 institutions in the United States that imprison people with disabilities. This powerful video was produced to increase awareness of the issue with hope that it will lead to closing more of these unnecessary institutions. Special thanks to New Hampshire composer and performer Kathy Lowe for most beautifully haunting music we have ever heard. (18 minutes, completed January, 2012)

New Hampshire Audubon
It is always an honor to do a video for an organization with the history and scope of New Hampshire Audubon. That doesn’t make it easy. Audubon oversees programs in nearly every part of the state, as well as 90 wildlife sanctuaries. Then there are there programs such as friends of the eagle summer camps and falcon watches and the rusty black bird program and that is just the beginning. Put it all into 8 minutes and you really have a challenge. (8 minutes, completed October, 2011).

The Aviation Museum of New Hampshire
It has been just a little over a hundred years since the Wright Brothers proved that it was possible to make a flying machine. It was several years later that New Hampshire saw its first airplane, and that was the beginning of a rich history of aviation in our state. Aviation in New Hampshire has come a long ways since Charles Lindberg came here with the Spirit of St. Louis in the summer of 1927. And now we have the New Hampshire Aviation Museum preserving that important part of New Hampshire history. (8 minutes, completed September, 2011)

NHDOT
Not all video projects need to be complicated. That was the case for our two most recent videos for The New Hampshire Department of Transportation. First was a video on the importance of ergonomics and using proper lifting techniques. The second highlighted the importance of innovation within the Department, looking at some of the ideas of DOT employees for improving their jobs and efficiency. (Most recent completed October, 2011) |

New Hampshire Department of Health and Human Services
The term is, “Realistic Job Preview” or RJP for short. In practice it is a short video presentation that is a form of job description. Many states around the country are using them to not only help recruit, but also filter out those who may have a misunderstanding of what the job entails and end up quitting after just a few weeks. We produced two of these for the New Hampshire Depart of Health and Human Services in 2010. A third was produced in 2011. (about 10 minutes each, Most recent completed July, 2011)

State Employees Charitable Campaign
Every year New Hampshire State Employees join in a campaign to support over 500 organizations around the state. Key to that effort is a video to explain the importance of their contribution. It is shown to groups both big and small to inspire and explain why this campaign is so important. (Most recent Completed, April, 2011) |

Children's Tumor Foundation
The Children’s Tumor Foundation, based in New York, is leading the fight against Neurofibromatosis (NF), a disease that develops painful tumors on nerve endings. For the past several years Accompany has produced video profiles of people active in the NF fight to be shown at gala a event in New York. The profiles run between 4 and 5 minutes each and have come to be an important part of the Galas. The 2010 gala was hosted by actor Alec Baldwin and raised over a million dollars. (Most recent completed in November, 2011)

Lakes Region Clean Waters Association
Forty years ago the Lakes Region Clean Waters Association was working to end the practice of dumping raw sewage into Lake Winnisquam. Their efforts lead them to become a model for the country on how small communities can work together to solve a problem. Recognized by the Federal Environmental Protection Agency, the Lakes Region Clean Waters association was the driving force in creating the Winnesaupakee River Basin Project. Most importantly, they are the reason people once again swim in Lake Winnisquam. This documentary is a story of citizen action and the importance of working together to protect the environment. (50 Minutes, Completed March, 2011) |

Lantos Foundation
Congressman Tom Lantos served twenty six years in Congress and was a leading champion for Human Rights. The foundation that was founded in his memory created the Tom Lantos Human Rights Prize. In 2009 the prize went to the Dalai Lama. The 2010 Prize was awarded to Elie Wiesel at ceremony in New York City. Accompany produced a video about Professor Wiesel that was shown at the event, and we were in New York to record the ceremony. (5 Minutes, Completed November, 2010) |

Capitol Center for the Arts
2010 marked the fifteenth year of operation for Concord’s Capitol Center for the Arts. It also marked the fifteenth year of being in business for Accompany. The Capitol Center is our home, the Accompany office has been in the Capitol Center since the beginning. So it is always a labor of love to produce anything for the CCA. Our most recent was for the fifteenth anniversary celebration. (8 Minutes, Completed November, 2010) |

Child Health Services

Granite State Fair Tax
Two year ago Accompany produced a short video documentary which detailed the history of the property tax in New Hampshire and examined its impact and fairness. In 2010 another video was produced to strengthen the message and make even more clear the inequities of the current tax structure in New Hampshire. This video is being used as part of a campaign to bring a more equitable tax system to New Hampshire. (6 minutes, Completed June, 2010)

Robin Spielberg
Robin is one of our favorite musician/composers and we have used her wonderful compositions in many, many video projects and documentaries. So when she came to New Hampshire to record her new CD “American Tapestry, From Sea to Shining Sea” it seemed only natural that we should put together something about the process and the new CD. Having worked with her music in other video projects, it was a real privilege to work with her music on a project about her. (2 different videos, completed August, 2010)

New Hampshire Department of Education
It seems we are often working on a project involving education. We have been taping the “EDies” every year since they began. But that is just the basic. Recently we have produced two videos about a new approach to secondary education, Extended Learning Opportunities, or ELOs. This past year we also worked with the Department to edit down several hours of material from an Education Summit, that is now an introduction of the changes that are taking place in Education. (ELO Videos completed January, 2010) |

Warrenstreet Architects
This Concord Architectural firm needed an introduction that spoke to who they are, what they do, have done, and can do. They set up the interviews, we took it from there. The result is now helping them bring in new projects. Used as a part of presentations, and also on their web site, Warrentstreet has brought the power of video to their marketing. (6 Minutes, Completed December, 2009) |
